At UFC 269, Oliveira beat Poirier by rear naked choke

In the main event of UFC 269 in Las Vegas, Brazilian Charles Oliveira beat American Dustin Poirier.

The Brazilian fighter utilised a choke hold to take the top spot in the UFC rankings. As a result, he successfully defended the lightweight belt.

Oliveira has 40 fights of which he got 32 wins. Poirier has 28 victories and seven losses.

Brazilian Amanda Nunez was defeated by American Julianne Pea in the evening’s co-main event.
