Bet365 donates £4.2m to GambleAware

For the first three quarters of the fiscal year, the British charitable organisation GambleAware got 16 million pounds from bookies.

With £4.2 million in donations, Bet365 led the way. Entain Holdings gave £4 million to GambleAware and £1 million to William Hill.

GambleAware wants bookies to contribute 0.1 percent of their GGY (Gross Gaming Revenue), and businesses with less than £250,000 to pay at least £250.

GambleAware is a non-profit group that works to safeguard players’ safety, prevent gambling addiction, and improve the gaming industry.
